Why was SPC Alliance established and what are its goals?

To establish a network of manufacturers, representatives, product consultants and specification writers, to write and promote the new Alliance and its specification.
To establish a new and different specification to be available to all architectural firms, owners and developers thru the SPC Alliance network.
To ensure that architects clients’ and owners of buildings save money by building a more competitive specification.
To enhance the relationship and build trust between architects, owner, developers and the SPC Network.
To educate and promote better door hardware products to the architectural community at large thru CEU’S and individual attention to the industries needs.
